The Collections we offer are by far our most popular packages for today's couples. It has something for everyone: the bride, the groom, parents and guests.
We consider your day to be one of the most important days of your life; a day that should have its great memories captured for a lifetime. We make your memories special using a decade of experience, professional equipment and fresh exciting artistry that you and generations to come will cherish. Let’s take a look at how it all works!
If your collection includes an Engagement session, we will meet for a casual photographic session before your “Big Day”. This gives us all an opportunity to get to know each other and your photographic preferences before your wedding day. This also helps you feel more comfortable in front of the camera. We spend quality time and fun creating photos with you! We go almost anywhere in Southern California to capture these photos. We have gone with our coupes to places like Monterey Bay, San Diego, Tehachapi, Carpentaria, and Mammoth. We believe that it is important to make the time to get photos from places that you feel are significant to you. It could be the place where the proposal took place. On this day, we also find out what kind of photography you like, which makes for much better images on your wedding day.
About two weeks after your session, you pick out your favorite image(s) from your web site and we order your Signature board or Signature Book album. If you prefer the book instead of the board, you pick out five of your favorite images and we put the book together for you.
Another important meeting takes place about two weeks prior to your day. We understand time constraints due to work and wedding planning amongst your already hectic lives. But this meeting is crucial to making sure your day runs smoothly. We go over your day in detail. We go over the questionnaire we prepare for you that helps to really define what is important to you. We also complete a time schedule (if you don’t already have one). This helps us coordinate with you and your other wedding vendors about your day, possible stop some potential problems to make your day an absolutely picture perfect.
Wedding Day
We like to begin your special day about four hours before the ceremony. We start at the location where the beautiful bride is getting ready. Once we arrive, we begin finding those hidden little places to create glamorous, fun, and romantic photos. We also have a couple of little things we do to capture what we fondly call the "pre-bridal jitters". We encourage the bride to have the maid of honor, bridesmaids, best friends, and immediate family members to be present immediately after the bridal session. This is the time when natural portraiture is the most beautiful; unrehearsed for that “not posed” look. We can also create some really beautiful family portraits using the environment as background; inside and/or outside, we work hard to capture life long memories with those people who matter most to you in a relaxed, intimate environment.
We then go to the ceremony location. We give the bride a little break, and work with the guys. What a lot of fun! We bring sunglasses and encourage the guys to bring other props. We create spectacular shots everyone loves. Of course we also do formals and portraits, and some surprise shots that are really different.
During the ceremony, we capture images that are both traditional and photojournalistic. We use a combination of styles, which allows for creativity in postproduction; we make some of the images B&W, sepia tone, and even a mixture of color and B&W.
After the ceremony, we set up for formal photos. We create what we call "naturally posed portraiture". This is very relaxed and casual; like you are just hanging around with your friends talking, laughing and joking around. We will come in and "fix things" up a little, but mainly we capture the essence of the day rather trying to mold you to something that is not “you”. We will also do some special romantics and some very creative and fun photos making your photos uniquely yours. This is such a fun and creative time; it usually goes by real fast. Remember; we have already captured a lot of key shots at the first location!
A useful idea is to have special flower corsages made up for important people at your wedding so that all your venders know that these are very special people to you. It help us to insure we get lots of photos of them. You may decide to have different colors for the different sides of the family.
The Reception:
We do all the traditional shots that you have come to expect and some you haven’t. We also have a great way to capture images of all those who share your wedding day with you. We do group photos that we call "table tops". While you visit each of your guest’s tables, we get a photo of you and all the people at that table. Our aim is to get at least one photo of each of your guests. We never take pictures while people are eating, so this is a good time for us to break and get a bite to eat ourselves. We photograph your day up until the cake cutting service is over. We then check in with you to be sure there are no other photos you would like, and if not, we will depart and let you enjoy the rest of your party.
After the “Big Day”:
In about three weeks we will email you your link and special instructions on how to get into your personal web site. Your site is secure with a password; you can give this password to all your friends and family. They can see them as many times as they like, order which ones they want. This alleviates the problem of ordering and distribution for you! If someone says to you, "Oh, I love this photo; I need a copy!" Just give them the web address and Enchanted Images will do the rest!
When it comes time to putting your wedding album together (if your collection includes one), the process is very simple. As soon as you go thru your images on line, just pick 100, 200 or 300 of your favorites for your 4X6’s (depending on your collection). Turn the image over and get the image number from the back of the print. Tell us the number of the images to go into your album. It takes about four weeks to complete after we receive your album order. If you would like to design the layout yourself, no problem! Just let us know; we have diagrams to help you. We have a clever way of arranging album layouts through the use of a computer program; it is very easy to tell your love story and very easy to make changes.
